Actions: Responsible / Note

Working Group Membership

Gintama suggested removing inactive members (those who haven't attended for 2+ months) to clear the roster and calendar for contributing members.

Simo Simovic to update the membership list and invite representatives from each active committee to ensure broader governance input.

Two-Year Term Extension

The group debated how to transition current one-year terms to two-year cycles. Options include extending current terms to 18 months or increasing seat capacity in April to stagger expirations.

Simo Simovic/Lorenzo to present the principle of two-year terms to the ISC next week for high-level approval before defining operational tactics.

Election Logistics

Discussion on extending the application period to 30 days to reflect the increased seriousness of a two-year commitment. Noted the need to stagger elections so they don't all coincide with Board elections.

Terence McCutcheon and the election team to refine the April election plan, assuming a potential temporary increase in committee size (min-max).

2026 Budget Process

Simo outlined a high-level timeline: info/process release in early February, with proposal submissions starting in late March/early April.

Simo Simovic to publish the finalized budget process and strict deadlines in early February to all stakeholders.

Committee Accountability

Gintama raised concerns that two-year terms increase the risk of "zero-value" members staying longer. Discussion touched on the necessity of a robust dismissal policy.

Lorenzo Bruno to review and potentially expand the Dismissal Policy to mitigate the risk of long-term inactivity or poor performance.
